For a brief moment though, I think when I pressed "Emergency," then "cancel" when brought to the phone screen, the message didn't pop back up, giving me time to go to Settings and delete Safari's history and data. Other results on Google frequently suggest clearing Safari's history and data via Settings then restarting the phone, but that's only when the message is counting down to a time when you "should" change your passcode. Leaving the box blank or putting in a random combo and pressing "Continue" just brings the dialog back up, so this thing is literally standing in the way of my home screen-so like, of using my phone altogether, unless I dignify its request, which I won't, unless I'm absolutely positive it's not something malicious. Well that I did, until I got the message in the title of this post, which only gave the option of "Continue," which then leads to the message, "To change your passcode, first enter your current passcode." Which I think makes it pretty obvious that this is someone trying to fish for my information, alongside the, shall we say, unprofessional grammar of the reference to my passcode as " iPhone unlock passcode." Below the text box where I would put my passcode are the options 'Emergency," which just brings me to the phone dialling screen, and "Continue," which assumes I've entered my passcode. When I first googled the problem, the very first thing to come up was this article basically saying that Apple has nothing to do with it and they don't know what it is, except that it's not malware, but you can just ignore it. It's actually popped up multiple times before, only with "in 35 minutes" and later, "15 minutes" in place of "at this time." The two options then were to change the passcode later and to do it then and there.
